Middle School Curriculum
Academics
Courses in mathematics, literature, social studies, language arts, and science provide a solid foundation for each student's pursuit of knowledge. At the same time, we enrich students with courses in computer science, physical education, performing arts, and fine arts.Academic schedules are tailored to each child's specific needs. If a student is advanced in a subject, we have the ability to cross-grade him or her into more challenging courses, including those offered on the high school level. If additional assistance is needed, we have an LDTC (Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant) available on staff.
Social Skills
Middle school students are often faced with unfamiliar social situations. To assist them in navigating this uncharted territory, we provide a social skills class for all of our middle school students.The results are students with stronger self-esteem and the ability to resolve conflicts on their own.
