Ashley earned her Master of Arts in Reading from Montclair State University and her Bachelor of Arts in both Elementary Education and Special Education from SUNY Geneseo. Mrs. Crowley completed 30-hours of Orton-Gillingham training at the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education as well as training in the Wilson Reading Program. She is the director of Barnstable’s Accent Program, a program designed to assist students with reading challenges.
Mrs. Crowley holds a New Jersey State Standard Teaching Certification. Additionally, she is certified as a Reading Specialist and is the daughter of the original founder of Barnstable Academy. She is in her twelfth year as a member of the Barnstable Academy staff.Back to Staff
