Mr. Joe Hayes, an Edge teacher at Barnstable, is a retired public school educator with more than thirty-five years of experience. He holds BS, MS, and MA degrees. He has taught Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and English. In addition, he has functioned as a K-12 Math/Science Supervisor, Interim Principal K-1 & 7-8, and Director of Special Services K-12. He often praises the excellent education he received from St. Peter’s Prep and is proud of the fact that he received tenure from every system for whom he worked. He enjoys spoiling his two grandchildren with his wife Lynn, who is also a retired public school teacher.
