
Nadine Lauer, LPC earned her Master of Arts in Counselor Education from Kean University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of New Jersey and holds a School Social Worker Certificate from the State of New Jersey Department of Education. Lauer is also affiliated with the New Jersey Counselors Association.
Lauer joins Barnstable this year after serving in education for the past twenty-one years. She has experience as a Psychotherapist and School Counselor. During those twenty-years, Lauer conducted individual, group, and crises counseling in schools with students of varying ages. She has worked with students in K-12, college, and she still practices as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
Lauer has not only provided school-based counseling, but she has tremendous experience with Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, Substance Abuse, and Crisis Intervention.
Prior to Kean University, Lauer received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Glassboro State College. In her spare time, Lauer works at Somerset Hills Handicapped Riding Center, a therapeutic equestrian program for children and adults. She is also an avid horseback rider.
