Mrs. Patty Spirko joins the Barnstable Academy family with several years of experience in the education field as a teacher and an administrator. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ramapo College, and an Elementary Education Teaching Certification with an Endorsement as Teacher of Students with Disabilities from William Paterson University. Throughout her career, she designed curriculum based on the Universal Design for Learning framework.

Mrs. Spirko is honored to be a part of a school whose philosophy places such an emphasis on focusing on the unique needs of each individual student.

In her free time, Mrs. Spirko enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time at her local lake!
